Shipping Carriers

KIBAKO uses the following international courier services:

  • FedEx
  • DHL
  • Japan Post

The carrier may vary depending on your location and order details.

Free Shipping Policy

Free shipping may be available for orders above a certain amount.

The threshold varies by region, so please refer to our Shipping Regions page for details.

Notes:
  • Due to exchange rate fluctuations, the final amount is based on the converted value in your local currency at checkout
  • Additional charges may apply for remote areas

Processing & Delivery Time
① Order Processing Time
  • In-stock items: 1–5 business days
  • During peak periods: 5–10 business days
Special Products
  • Snacks: approx. 3–10 business days (within Japan before dispatch)
  • Contact lenses: approx. 5–7 business days
  • Other items: subject to availability

Some items are ordered from suppliers after purchase to ensure freshness, which may cause additional delays.

② Delivery Time (After Shipment)
  • FedEx: 3–5 business days (5–10 during peak periods)
  • DHL: 2–6 business days (6–8 during peak periods)
  • Japan Post:4–10 business days (7–15 during peak periods)

Delivery Methods

Packages may be delivered via:

  • Door-to-door delivery (signature required)
  • Delivery to building management or parcel lockers
  • Pickup notice left at your address
  • Transfer to a local courier partner

Unclaimed or Returned Packages

Packages may be returned due to:

  • Incorrect name or address
  • Failure to receive the package
In such cases:
  • Shipping and return costs will be deducted from your refund
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method

Shipping Fees
Customer Responsibility

If the issue is caused by the customer (e.g., incorrect address):

  • Reshipping and return shipping fees are the customer’s responsibility
KIBAKO Responsibility

If caused by KIBAKO or the courier:

  • All related shipping costs will be covered by KIBAKO

Duties & Taxes
Customer Responsibility

Any duties or taxes incurred due to customer-related issues must be paid by the customer

KIBAKO Responsibility

If caused by logistics or operational issues, KIBAKO will cover the cost


Address Changes
  • Before shipment: Changes are allowed (contact support)
  • After shipment: Contact the courier directly

Note: Address change fees may apply (approx. 9.5 USD)


Tracking Your Order

You can track your shipment via:

  • Your account page (Order History)
  • Courier websites using your tracking number

Delivery Issues

If your tracking status shows “Delivered” but you have not received your package, please contact customer support within 3 business days.

Cases not covered for compensation may include:
  • Incorrect name or address
  • Lack of cooperation with delivery investigation
  • Failure to report within the required timeframe

Delays

Orders are typically shipped within 3–7 business days.

However, delays may occur due to:

  • Peak seasons or sales events
  • Courier capacity issues
  • Weather or external factors

In some cases, compensation (e.g., coupons) may be provided.


Weight Limit

Maximum weight per order: 10kg

Orders exceeding this limit may incur additional charges or be adjusted/canceled


Remote Area Surcharge

Additional fees may apply for remote areas as defined by the courier.

These charges will be automatically calculated at checkout if applicable.


Customs Clearance

You may be required to provide:

  • Identification documents
  • Additional information for customs clearance

Failure to comply may result in return shipping at the customer’s expense.


Returns (Unclaimed Packages)

If a package is not received due to customer reasons:

  • Return shipping and handling fees apply
  • Reshipping requires additional payment
  • Return handling fee: 7 USD
  • Shipping fee: Based on actual courier charges
